I’m speaking directly to Ward 4 residents about why I’m running and asking for your support and your vote.
Born here.Raised here.Lives here.
I was born and raised in Orillia, and I am running to represent Ward 4 with a practical focus on city services, responsible neighbourhood growth, stronger local infrastructure and a better community for all of us.

Practical issues. Clear priorities.
These are the neighbourhood issues I hear about and see every day, and they are the priorities I want to keep in front of Council.
Orillia has always been home
I was born in Orillia in 1966 and have spent my life in this community. My family has been part of Orillia’s story for more than a century, including a long connection to the local restaurant and hospitality business.
My wife Jen and I married in 1997, and we have three adult children. I received my primary and secondary education in Orillia and later studied Marine Navigation at Georgian College in Owen Sound.
Community involvement and hospitality have shaped how I work with people. I believe in service, hard work, listening carefully and treating people with respect.
I have served as Past Master of Twin Lakes Masonic Lodge 718 and I am an active member of St. James Anglican Church in Orillia.
My experience representing Ward 4
I have had the privilege of representing Ward 4 on Orillia City Council before, and I am ready to bring that experience back to the community.
I have represented Ward 4 before
I was elected as one of Ward 4’s councillors in 2010. That experience taught me how important it is to keep local issues visible, ask the hard questions and keep pushing for practical results.
A life built around Orillia
My roots in Orillia go back more than a century through my family. Community involvement and years in hospitality have taught me the value of service, accountability and listening to people.
